Farmers for the Future Grant
The Farmers for the Future (F4F) Grant is an Agricultural Entrepreneurship grant designed to support young people with viable Agri-Business with equity-free capital and other associated support they may require to scale their businesses.
The project is an initiative developed and sponsored by the British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF) in partnership with NYSC and implemented by SAEDConnect. It is targeted at currently serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members – as part of BATNF’s drive to encourage and support the youth in sustainable agriculture.

Drive youth engagement in Agriculture.

Olubola Adeleye Foundation Acknowledges Teachers Contributions To Building Humanity, Awards Certificates To Ekiti Teachers
The selflessness of teachers in building and impacting the younger generation has again been acknowledged as a Non Governmental Organization ( NGO), Olubola Adeleye Foundation ( OAF), organized a training programme for teachers to celebrate and honour them for their commitment in spite of all odds.
At the programme held in Ekiti for teachers by OAF, the Founder, Mrs. Adeleye said a lot of teachers are not motivated by the meagre sum paid to keep them at their respective places of work but are committed to building up the students because of their passion and as such, they must be appreciated for doing such a good job.
According to her, the gesture is OAF's way of giving back to the teachers. "What I usually do is to design beautiful certificates and present it to them to acknowledged their services and that goes a long way to boost their morale. It makes them feel good”, she stressed saying appreciating teachers is something that must be consciously done because nobody wants to be a teacher anymore.
She however enjoined the people to look for ways to support teachers even by donating Biro’s, Pencils or Rulers. “Let’s make the resources to be available for them to teach. We all know that when funds are released, somebody, somewhere might just decide to sit on it”, she added saying her passion is geared towards quality education, poverty and hunger alleviation for the people.

Every day we grow old.
Every day we make mistakes and learn from our mistakes.
Every day we move through the motions or jungle of life to find ourselves.
Some days, some people that we trust will betray us and it will hurt like crap and hell.
We have two choices.
1) Dwell on their betrayal, keep unforgiveness, resentment, anger, hurt, bitterness, sadness, heaviness, heartbroken, and hold on to what they did to us and refuse to let go.
2) Sit down to find out how we contributed to their betrayal. It takes two to tango. So, identify our own mistakes in the matter. After that, go to God in prayer to speak about the betrayal and give the heavy burden onto Jesus. Then, walk away from it. Don't remember it again. Carry on with pursuing your dreams in life.
The second option is forward thinking option that is the best to take.
Looking back on how people hurt us is backward and nobody needs that. You need to look towards your goal post or award or thorphy and you cannot see your goal post behind you. It is always in front of you.
On your journey in life, you will make some cock-ups or vital mistakes that you will regret for the rest of your life.
Don't dwell on mistakes in the past. They are gone. They may be due to youthful exhurburance or foolishness. It is allowed in some cases.
It is not allowed for you to commit adultery, beat your wife, waste the family's money on agbere or adultery or gambling. They are not allowed.
This is why I will advise you to get good mentors who will guide you on your way to greatness. The secret is to listen to your mentor and follow their advise. Their advise is never convenient but if you follow your mentors advise, your forward or future self will thank you for it.

Mrs Olubola Adeleye condemns the abduction of School Girls from Zamfara State.
It is rather unfortunate and sad that a large amount of school girls can be abducted again in Nigeria.
According to a school teacher who reported to a newspaper that, the student population is 600 and only 50 girls were not abducted. That means 550 girls were abducted by these bandits. That's just too much of children.
A country that has security personnel. What exactly are our security personnel doing in Nigeria if they cannot protect our girls?
Can Nigeria take human lives seriously and stop playing with these criminals and bandits?
Enough is enough.
We are fed up of abductions and kidnapping happening in our country Nigeria.
Let us pray for the safe return of these girls. They will be traumatized from this evil experience. Which organization will be funded to help them get over this terrible experience?
Some of these girls will be sexually abused and rapes by these evil bandits.
This is highly unacceptable.

If I can think of people who created new business ideas, I can think of billionaires in the world.
Mark Zuckerberg created a business idea to allow friends and families to connect on an app and allow them to share photos. He called it Facebook.
Someone else thought about using videos for people to learn, connect and they called it YouTube.
Google was created by two men who thought of how to make it easier for people to find answers to any question from the comfort of their home without rushing to the library.
Creating new business ideas are gifts from God. It is amazing that, a lot of people received the same ideas but one person will pursue that idea and majority of people discard the idea.
We are surrounded by acres of diamonds if only we can pursue just one idea given to us by God.
It cannot be easy implementating the business idea. It will be tough, challenging, discouraging and people will laugh at the idea because they cannot see beyond their 👃 nose which is ok.
Banks will throw the idea out into the dustbin. That's ok too. If you keep moving and do not quit until one bank accepts to bank roll your idea.
Better still, dont give up until you meet investors who will invest in your business idea and sponsor the project.
Believe in yourself during your journey and believe God that the beginning may be hard but the end shall be sweet as honey.

A Woman's position redefined
By Honourable Tunde Adeleye
Given the partriachial society that we live in, it _conferred_ on man the power to control women economically, physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
To a considerable extent, culture and religion conspired to support and aligne itself to this imbalance of power and repression.
Man was adjudged to be the head or master of the house. And woman was meant to be subservient and cater to man's whims and caprices. Man was the provider. And woman was his designated helper.
As long as woman submitted herself under the authority of man, all would be well and peace would reign. Man would be respected, feared, and his judgment was unappologetically deemed to be final. But no where in that erstwhile concocted blueprint of man's dominion, was man still expected to retain his power and control over woman if he shirked his responsibilities as a man.
For instance, if he failed to bring home the bacon or the bread (even if it was acquired on loan), was he still to be respected, feared and for woman to submit to him?
On the contrary, what makes a man, is his ability to provide for his family through sustainable means and to demonstrate good leadership, extend mutual respect and love for woman.
For a woman will follow man, if man knows where he is going. A man who can't lead or dream, will sooner lose the respect of woman, or worse still, if he suppresses rather than support his partner's (woman) dreams.
Man becomes an empty shell, an inconsequential vessel, and incapable of truly asserting his full authority if he can't provide for, and sustain his family. If he barks and reminds the woman of his headship and authority - should she try and defy him, unknown to him, his head is actually not hanging properly on his neck. This lack of balance is made manifest as he struggles to provide for his family.
In proving to be a man, and working ever so hard to provide the family, it should not be to the detriment of man's health. If he breaks down, it is the same woman, bashed, neglected and oppressed that will pick him up and nurse him back to good health.
However, whether man was able to provide for the family or not, in a loving or abusive relationship, the tables have now turned. A woman's place is no longer confined permanently to the kitchen as a housewife - or the now apt phrase - domestic engineer - for to have done so, will limit her enormous potential and rob her of the innate ability and the power to dream and to achieve great things in life.
Either through long years of endurance and sufferance, a lot of women through sustained feminist movements have found their voice. The emancipation of women through relentless grass roots education, campaigned vigorously that every woman has the fundamental right to enjoy the same equality rights as man.
Nonetheless, a woman's value and contribution to society should not be undermined or underated; as if woman on her own, is not capable of achieving great feats with her intellect, talent and entrepreneurial drive to succeed against all odds, without warming the bed of her supposed benefactor who continues to perceive her as a sex object.
As stated earlier, man has enjoyed the utilisation of power and control to subjugate women in all facets of society.
From the onset, power has actually been domiciled in women's territory, which seemingly makes a mockery of the saying "women are the weaker sex". In the main, I'm referring to a woman's superior mental capacity to withstand and overcome any adversity and come out the stronger for it, a concept that man may not want to subject themselves to.
It is a pity that not many women are aware of the strong unbreakable spirit within them. If they did, they would tap into it more often.
Man's reaction to a woman who is unable or unaware of this natural gift, may seek to repress and control her, making her lose her self esteem in the process. Not surprisingly, man is detached or intimidated by a strong independent and fearless woman who combines her brains, beauty and her own unique power to assert herself. It confuses and throws man into a frenzy if he knows a woman is self-sufficient and is able to take care of herself and ALL her needs, all by her own, without his help or money.
In conclusion, man may flex, huff and puff, batter, demean, abuse and subdue his other half, and at the same time profess his undying love to her in a bid to assert his superiority over her; but in reality without woman, man is lost and so is woman. And almost certainly, neither power or control by either gender comes close to competing with love which inevitably binds both of them together.

Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Women Techsters 2021 Fellowship Program. This year, we will admit girls and women between the ages of 16 to 40 years into the fellowship program.
Only women in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt should apply.
The Women Techsters Initiative is set out to achieve the following:
1. To empower African women to establish start-ups or technology-enabled businesses to build an entrepreneurial mindset in them.
2. To support women to become digitally enabled, social champions, and owners of businesses
3. To bridge the digital divide between men and women in the technology space while contributing to economic growth
4. To ultimately improve the socio-economy of the African continent by providing skills that will elevate women from poverty.
The Fellowship Program is an opportunity for women to upskill and build the capacity needed to access decent work opportunities.
The Fellowship will commence on Monday, 8th March 2021 and will run for a year.
The first 3 months will be for the technical training, followed by a 2-week soft skill training, and a six-month internship program.
The learning paths for this training are:
1. Software Development
2. Product Design (UI/UX)
3. Cybersecurity
4. Product Management
5. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Engineering

Yamikani Ng’ona, I am a Woman
Yamikani Ng’ona, a Scholar in the Program at EARTH University. She is currently pursuing her studies in Agricultural Engineering.
My confession:
I once was asked which of the ever existing women I admire,
No name of a woman came in my thought
But a group of all the women who came out of their comfort zones
And realized they had more to give to the world than to be oppressed and undermined
Just because of their gender, that is, being a woman.
I am talking about the mother,
Who wakes up every morning and regardless of what the community expects of her
She gives in every strength and might that she has for her happiness and of those around her.
I think of a girl child,
Who regardless of her family misjudgment about her ability to succeed,
She strives and aim till she achieves it.
I think of every woman, who has been sexually abused
Made to feel like she is useless, disgusted by the memories and just worthless,
Above all, made to feel as if it was her fault she was abused.
But after all that, she stands and faces her fears voices out to the world,
And uses the story of shame to give light in her life and of the people around.
The stories of all these women make me have no limitations of my capabilities,
Makes me have faith where there is no hope,
Makes me see love where there are disputes.
They make me feel disgusted where there is hatred,
For that, I told myself to never stay and watch just because I’m a woman.
I am the light that my community needs,
I am the soft wind that will blow towards their direction,
And all will have no choice, but feel the warmness that comes with it.
I am the seed that will fall on their land and happiness will grow for all.
All because I am the woman.

We have been seeing people showing their revalidation slip all over social media.
_But, what is the main purpose of this exercise?_
1) Is it to show the world that the person supports APC?
2) Is it to get new members to join APC?
3) Is it to educate a lot of Nigerians who do not support any political party in Nigeria to join APC?
What are the aims and objectives of this exercise?
Is there any plans for the youths who are the future of Nigeria in this exercise?
Where are the information materials educating the youths on the benefits of joining APC?
If you really want new members, the first question on the new member's mind is, What is in it for me? What are you offering me?
So far so good, we have not seen the benefits of joining APC. All what we can see are existing members showing their slip that they revalidated their membership.
What is APC going to do for Nigerians if they become a member?
Let the leaders organize awareness talks in the communities in the local community halls to tell us the benefits of joining APC.
My focus is on a better Nigeria for all of us and our children.

The solution is simple.
Stay away from sex before marriage and focus 100% on pursuing your dreams, your gifts, your trade, your talents, your education that sex will have no time again.
